In February 1983 Blaise Gautier organized a monograph presentation at the Centre Pompidou as part of the “Revue parlée” sponsored cultural events.

Thanks to Laure, the daughter of the painter André Brasilier and her husband Jean-Louis Menier, a retrospective exhibition was mounted at the Château de Chenonceau in 1985. He participated in the International Contemporary Art Fair (FIAC), at the Grand Palais – Creuzevault Pavilion in Paris after having shown at the Galerie Creuzevault two years earlier.

An important retrospective exhibition was organized by Dimitris Pierides at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Center (NiMAC) in Cyprus.

In 1985 the President of the Hellenic Republic named him a Commander of the Order of the Phoenix and he was also conferred Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters from the then French Minister of Culture Jack Lang.
