Inside the artistic universe of one of the most important Greek artists
It is located on a quiet street in Papagou, one of those where you can still see old houses and orange groves planted on the sidewalks. From the outside you immediately understand that this is the house of a special person. Visible concrete and bricks are the hallmark of the house, at least externally. Although it has three floors, it has nothing pompous.
Some metal birds are a classic trademark figure of the artist visible at the entrance of the house, which, betray its owner, Alekos Fasianos.
“Get ready to enter Fassianos universe,” predicts young Victoria, his daughter, who was the one who urged us to visit him. “Many do not know that Aleko’s entire house is like a living museum, since everything has been designed and curated by him.”
